Transition to Home-based Learning- Update

To curtail the spread of COVID19, schools in countries that have confirmed transmission have been urged to support students throughs strategies such as remote learning. Schools and institutes of high learning in 189 countries across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America and South America are closed, Singapore being one of them.


Education entails tracking progress, sharing feedback, interacting with students and heling them learn in a holistic manner. There has been an evident surge in demand for high-quality and effective online learning solutions to bridge these transitions when functioning remotely.


Online learning platforms are being developed to provide a safer platform for both students and teachers to communicate with one another.

One such platform is the Learning Management System (LMS), where you can develop, administer and track educational programmes and courses. The LMS platform creates and delivers curriculum that students can follow both online and offline.


Interactive videos or video conferencing is being used to convey a similar learning style in school. Students are being engaged through an artificial environment that simulates situations.

Virtual whiteboards are also used to create an active learning environment for students.
